Every summer, fans from across the country gather by land and sea in Harpswell to watch Maine lobstermen take a well-earned day off and race for prize money and bragging rights. I joined the all-volunteer committee in 2018 and have donated my services every year—ranging from branding and website design to apparel, day-of sales, and whatever else it takes to bring the event to life. It’s one way I enjoy giving back to my community, especially knowing that 100% of the proceeds go directly to Harpswell families.
